Who Wrote What on Famous Monsters and American Psycho? (Revised)
Very big thank you to “zombiehorror” for sending me his (far more comprehensive) list. This is, as far as I know, a completely accurate list of who composed which tracks on each album.
Anonymous asked: Just making some notes on a few older posts; The Misfits performed Come Back dozens of times during the Resurrection tour and there are also several recordings made of those various shows. Also the version of Blitzkrieg Bop featuring Joey Ramone was either from October of 1997 or 1998; by the time Jerry was doing the rotating line ups Joey was probably (and unfortunately) to sick to perform.
Thank you for the correction, I learned I was wrong about Come Back the day after I posted that. As for Joey, unfortunately that makes all too much sense.
Who Wrote What on Famous Monsters and American Psycho?
Here’s what I come up with on who wrote what! I used to have this list (now updated) up on my geocities Fiend Club site back in early 2000! All the info comes from interviews with band members so it should be fairly accurate!
I find it seriously hilarious that Doyle was given a public forum to have a serious discussion about the horror genre with some of the most important figures in modern rock ‘n’ roll and the only two major contributions he made were a story about passing a kidney stone and saying how he wishes “bitches would stop screaming” so much in horror flicks. Gotta love Doyle.
filthyicon asked: to your anon, they basically are the same thing and if any differences exist, they would be pretty minor.
Our resident vinyl expert offers his take.
Anonymous asked: is the sound of the "walk among us"-LP from recorstoreday (clear,blue,red...) the same as on the pink "Ruby"-Version?
I haven’t noticed any difference in particular. Unfortunately, I only own one version, so I haven’t had much opportunity to compare.
